I spoke with Real Estate agent, Alicia, this morning and she will not show the property without a non-refundable application fee $50 each from myself and husband accompanied by complete rental applications, and background checks. She also states she only shows the property on week days. The only way to describe the conversation is that she was rude and exasperated with my interest in the property. I had the same experience the first time.. I don't understand that attitude. She stated that you are under the misconception of how this works. She did offer to possibly show the property in a few weeks on a Saturday but that it's highly unusual for her to do so. Also, a rental application for each adult along with application fees must be done first. I'm sorry that a simple viewing has turned into such a monumental task for her. I don't know what to do at this point, since I'm not willing to pay $100 non-refundable application fee and complete a full background check just to view the property. It would be a big move for us, and we need to see the land and area before committing.
