Biography
I went to school to become a Physician Assistant. I got myself into real estate and have been doing all my own renovations on apartments I own. I have been studying sustainability for about 10+ years extensively since the beginning of college. I have finally acquired the items needed to start creating a sustainable community including land and heavy equipment. I am in the process of building an orchard based permaculture farm with multiple Earthships designed into the layout that have Rocket Mass Heaters as backup heating. This dream is what I work towards creating everyday. The name of the farm is New Stage Farm to represent the next chapter of what us humans can do to fix the world and live a more meaningful life.

Here are two dull ship augur bits measuring 3/4” and 1” diameter. I sharpened them up using an augur bit file. Now they’re ready to get back to work!

Here is my dull drill bit to my 3/4” Southwire 4’ extended bit for running electrical wire for old work applications. Notice the large burs from hitting nails in the walls. I used an augur bit sharpening file. Cleaned up, burs gone, and now sharp!

I currently have 7 adult chickens that are about a year old in my backyard. They include 1 Silver Laced Wyandotte, 2 Rhode Island Reds, 2 New Hampshire Reds, and 2 Plymouth Rock. I have another 18 chicks up and coming with large variety! The hen pictured here is Bertha. She’s always keeping the eggs warm for us.

Hi everyone,

I am starting a permaculture farm and future Earthship community in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. I was able to acquire an incredible 200+ acre parcel of land that has a wide variety of ecosystems including a 22 acre pond. There is about 130 acres of "high and dry" land to experiment with. A large majority of it was logged right before I purchased it. There is practically no infrastructure allowing for complete design and implementation as I see fit.

I was planning on doing this on my own as I was unsure of how to get help from the permaculture community before. The SKIP program seems awesome! I am open to have people assist with these projects to get their badges and experience as well as try projects of their own if they fit into the overall grand plan of the property. I'm currently installing swales, building roads, digging the first of many fishponds (~1/4 acre), planting orchards by seed, installing fencing, establishing pasture and much more this current summer and fall of 2022. I have an older full size 53,000 pound excavator, new 71 HP tractor with a handful of attachments, and portable bandsaw sawmill amongst other things to assist in creating this community. I plan on building the first of many Earthships spring of 2023 using traditional timber frame methods with lumber milled on site. There will be a lot of badges available to earn for people who want to get some real hands on experience and see what it looks like from the absolute beginning.

I'd say put me down for Full PEP/PEX
