I didn't wash my potatoes (which after reading this I should have) but I had my potatoes in a plastic container that started to condensate inside and sprouted like crazy in the dark.
After that I planted them in my raised garden with soil and watered and covered it with thick dark plastic for a couple of days.
I realized that it likes drained soil rather than wet drenched soil. But keep it in the dark.
There little 2 inches tall as of April but it's still growing.
I hope it continues and if anyone could give me some tips that would be greatly appreciated 🙂
