Hello, this sounds like a great project. I will be private messaging you later today. Cheers!

Edward Finch wrote:My wife and I have 40 acres of pretty good land (mostly class II agricultural soils, decent well, large pond, seasonal creek) in the Willamette Valley with the intention of turning this into a commercially viable permaculture/regenerative ag operation, and we need one or more partners to help us make it all happen. We are sincere, caring, and pragmatic people who know how to collaborate and cooperate. We are looking for people with similar qualities who are passionate about permaculture methods, and ready to pour their heart, energy, and back into this project. There is a huge amount that needs to be done.

Although younger people still finding their direction are welcome to reach out, we're looking primarily for long-term partners, people who want to make their home here and share in the rewards of what we build together. I really think this is a great opportunity for someone who is truly motivated and inspired by all the permaculture brilliance but who may not be able to afford their own land (or maybe who could, but knows that they don't want to do it alone). Families are especially encouraged to reach out.

Hello I’m Ashley, and have partnered up with Brian, the author of this original post East Texas Eco-village housing startup”.

I moved here to the property in January 2022, just a couple months ago. In this post Im here to share photos of the landscape and community areas. I will post again introducing myself and our name of the Eco-Village we have started. These are photos of parts of the 40 acres we have to offer our community, and as you can see we are in the beta stage.

Please see future post for more information and contact info. Thanks so much!!

What is an accountability partner in this context?

I wrote you a pm. I’d be happy to join you guys, and feel we have similar spirit. I’d be learning about building (but I’m a big lover of alternative building like yourself) and I don’t know growing veggies in that particular climate, BUT I’m a mad researcher and make things happen, and I’m full of positive will power 😊 I’m growing a variety of food now in this climate. I do have land I’m paying off there, just a little piece in that state in the south(ish) so I’d love to make my way to the area and connect with others, as well as learn as I go. I can commit to time and effort and communal goals and would love to experience it all.

I hope to hear from you soon. Cheers!
