I found some tall ones at Wal-Mart, which look almost like those from my youth, but they are made with some rubbery plastic instead of leather. They have a pretty good grip, though. Not as good as leather, but it will do until I find the right kind! I am going to try to paint them with something that will give them a better grip! You can order them from
