Thanks Rebecca. Thanks, I should say I normally live in England and I'm well aware how much mulch can help. Water management is another issue in itself. The plot of land o have doesn't have a house but is bordered by two of my in-laws houses and I suggested rain water collection and grey water collection but both suggestions were ignored so I am easing people into permaculture thinking and companion planting is one of the easiest concepts to digest and most people have already heard off it.

I am in Lahore at the moment, My mamo is experimenting with permaculture here and there ar a few young fruit trees I am also interested in making a guild for.
I am just wondering what guilds Anyone has made for amrood, cheeko and citrus?
What are the common pests and what have you found which has helped to repeal these?
What do you tend to use for nitrogen fixation?

Also general question - most of the reading I have done / videos I have seen around water management seems to deal with slopes, what are you supposed to do on flat land?

Hi All,

The forum has been a great resource for my permaculture fantasies over the last few years, I'm finally in a position to to put this and my reading into practice as finally moving to Wales. However we need to be within a 30 minute drive from Northwest Cardiff. I've been told by others who have searched In the past to give up as I'm unlikely to find anything in this area and to look further west, unfortunately this is not an option.
I've checked Zoopla, rural scene, uklandandfarm etc.  No luck.
Please 🙏 if you know someone willing to sell would really appreciate it if you could reach out to them and let me know!
Or if you can think off any other way of getting the word to the right people that would be helpful too.
