This is great, and I look forward to looking through everyone's channels!
What I think would be awesome would be a place to help bump youtube channels up past the 1,000 subscribers/4,000 view hours like we did with Raven's channel. Maybe when people get in the 900 subscribers we could do a little push to get them over the hump. We could call it "subs4sub1000" or something like that. Maybe people would only post there when they're getting close. Like I said before, Youtube puts ads on pretty much everything now, so we might as well have some of that money going to permie projects.
Here's my channel for good measure.
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCT6H50SccbeQKlhHufvAo1A It's an eclectic mix of motion graphic videos with a few animal videos as well. (I posted a twelve second very pregnant goat video on youtube shorts last night and got 1,000 views. You would think I'd be thrilled, but it's a bit depressing seeing a lazy video geared for the tiktok brain gets so many views when other videos I spent months on have a quarter of the number of views!) If you have animals though, youtube shorts might be a good way to get your feet wet.
We're going to try to get some more videos on our permie projects as they start to take shape. We've been hesitant to share too much because we're still learning so much and don't feel confident telling people what to do when we haven't tried it ourselves. But we've made enough mistakes by now we can at least share those and hopefully help someone else avoid them!
