Hey there. My wife and I love the post and align with the vision and values. My family and I (wife, 3 kids under 4 and homestead trained Goldendoodle) have traveled all over the last 4 years seeking sustainable living.

I’ve learned a lot about permaculture and built multiple food forests, pond builds have been hands on in various natural building projects, raised animals, cleared raw land, built roads and homesites, created terraces on steep mountain slope, and general homesteading stuff.

I have a successful Personal Training/Holistic business though I’ve struggled to grow in it rural areas.

We’re currently living in a small community in central Texas but it’s failing. We’ve been to and experienced successful communities as well as failing communities - we have learned a lot.

Would love to talk more with ya if what I’ve said so far interests you.

In good health,
Brandon

Hey Chris, I’d love to hear more about your project and endeavors. I have a family of 5 and actually helped start up a community in the Appalachia a few years back. We have traveled to about 7 communities over the years and learned a lot, seen successful models and not so successful models. Would love to have a conversation with ya over the phone if you’re open to it. For a start, my email is Brandonbrown9113@gmail.com

I know this is an old post but my family and I have been traveling exploring eco villages, sustainable living, permaculture, natural builds, etc.

We are still figuring exactly where we will land but currently in the coldspring area.

Hey everyone, my partner, 2 young kids, and dog have been exploring possibilities for a home for the last 2 years. We have explored Portugal, an eco village in Colorado and North Carolina, and we also helped start an intentional community in East Tennessee.

I’m really passionate about permaculture, foraging, natural building, medicinal plants, learning, and building community. I’ve practiced hundreds of hours on a skid steer, operating it with 6 different attachments.

I’ve cleared roads, welded and constructed a saw mill, tended to chickens and goats, designed and created a food forest, terrace gardening, digging out the foundation of a Cobb house and lots of other stuff in the last couple years. I had a career in the electrical field for 6 years before I started my career in the health and fitness industry for the last decade.

I took on a project to help a couple turn their 100 acres into a intentional community with 8 homesites and community areas.

My wife has been tending to our children and is passionate about supporting mothers and children. She freebirthed our second son amongst our journey and is also learning medicinal herbs and cooking what we forage. She currently has a full time remote position for a health coaching company that has allowed us to explore different options.

What we are looking for are 2-3 other families who are interested in purchasing land together and who value natural building, community living, self-sustainability, and in creating a legacy through cultivating traditional skills. We’re looking for families that also have children in order to create an ecosystem of learning about what really matters instead of the indoctrination offered through most schooling systems.

The kind of property we are looking for would include a spring fed creek, mature forests, staying off-grid and about 20 acres to share amongst the community. We are currently in the Chattanooga area and looking to stay within an hour.

If you resonate, we’d love to meet you and feel free to email me at brandonbrown9113@gmail.com
Hey, my partner and 2 kids are seeking something similar. I am looking for holistic minded, permaculture minded, healthy people looking to create a little community with. I need to be within an hour or so of Chattanooga so there’s a stipulation but I’ve got my feet wet with permaculture, operating skid steers, natural building, etc. would love to talk more if that’s a geographic area you’d be interested in.

Hey Dustin, it's been a while since there was any activity here. Are you still looking to grow your community? If so, would you care to email me at Brandonbrown9113@gmail.com ? I'd love to hop on a call with you and get to know you a bit.

Hello, my family (my wife, 2 year old son, 5 month old son, 1 year old dog, and myself) have been traveling the United States and Portugal for 2 years now seeking home. Its very hard to find a conscious homestead community and though we have honed in on tennessee as home, we are still not sure where exactly that will be.

We are into conscious conversations, self development, community building, natural building, permaculture, herbalism, esoteric knowledge, and more.

We spent about 6 months in east tennessee and west north carolina and love the mountains.

We would love to speak over the phone and hear more about what you've got going on and establish a relationship.

Would love to hear from ya

I thought I would go ahead and provide a little update. My family and I (wife, infant and toddler kids) went ahead and moved forward with moving onto the land.

We have been building out the roads and homesites for the properties along with building a saw mill.

On the parcel we are buying, we made terraces and started a food forest. We are particularly interested in permaculture, going to have some animals, and being off grid.

We made a shift from the city lifestyle so we are learning a lot but committed to the lifestyle.

Really look forward to growing the community and building strong relationships with good people!
