I, like so many others probably here, are feeling the urgent pull to leave the city due to the reins the government will continue to impose on our society.

I am a single mom to 2 boys, one with special needs (vaccine injured) -- so the idea of doing this all on my own feels daunting.

Ideally I would like to go somewhere with a warmer climate -- ie. SW or SE, where food can be grown year round.

Somewhere with maximum medical freedom and freedom in general. I was reading that there are only a couple handfuls of states that actually permit off-grid living.  Is this true?

Currently we are vegan and have been for almost a decade, however for the first time, I am open to the idea that we may be forced to change our diet to accommodate this new lifestyle.

I would love to be off-grid enough that power, water, etc are all self sufficient, however, I would prefer to not be completely off grid in the sense that there is no cell or internet access.

I work virtually as a Life Insurance Broker, but I am eager to learn all the exciting new PEP skills to create a warm and loving home and environment for my children and all those around me.

Eager to connect and network - if you have any ideas or opportunities that you think may be a fit for me, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Grateful to be here.

Hey πŸ‘‹

So I'm a 38 year old female,and haven't a clue where to start ?...
Any input or advice would be great!

I'm from the UK .. I'm at the hunting for land stage just now ..

I do know about growing food and tending to animals and things ,I can even fish ! And the soci isolation side of it would be bliss to me ..(introvert) i grew up on a farm so I think that made me that way ..it's the build and things that's got me stumped.πŸ˜•

Anyway ..

Hi πŸ‘‹.Marni here 'im 38 ,from the United Kingdom .I have some knowledge of this as I lived on a rural farm all of my childhood !
I hate the city !! I'm dying to get back to nature and if I'm honest the isolation doesn't bother me in the slightest! Most people these days are fake anyway ! Sad Huh? But very true πŸ˜”

It doesn't take allot to live that way if I'm honest ..once you have all the water and power sorted your pretty much there (after the build of course)..

It's an amazing feeling ..the fresh air .the pride in what you've accomplished! You will have a little guilt tho ..for not doing it sooner ..

Anyway I'll end my rant here ...I talk allot!!! Ha .. I wish you all the luck in the world on your new adventure x
