Hi permies community!

My name is Fly Lee. I am 35 and am looking for a female (Age is not a factor) to go off grid with. It does not have to be in the states and would prefer out of the country. I have been dreaming of this for a while now but have no experience in off grid living. I know it will be hard work but the hard work doesn't scare me. I just want to live free. Living in the city is so suffocating and is not the life for me. Every time I see nature, I am always in awe at the beautiful world that is given to us be we take it for granted by polluting it all for the sake of $$$. I have some money saved up to make necessary purchases for this kind of living and am ready to take on this adventurous living.

I am 34 and also want to live off the grid. I have some experience living off grid in the mountains in utah.  I have very little money but am resourceful and very hardworking.  I have been alone more often then not and want to begin a life with someone. I don't have any kids and have never been married and have never really dated and have had like four relationships. I believe in monogamy and in values not shared with society these days. I was preferably looking for someone already living off grid but who knows... Anyhow if I would like to message me my email is jenjennfox@gmail.com

I just turned 38 October 7th. I've come to a point in life that I realized I want to live my dream of being off grid and living in nature but I'd love to have someone to share that goal and dream life with. I just literally want peace and happiness and to explore this planet we live on as much as possible. And to have someone I can make amazing memories with while doing so.

Hello I'm Brad I'm 51 and I have been wanting to live off the grid. I have purchased 5 acres in Eastern Washington. I'm ready to move there. But I'm missing something that's a woman who wants the same lifestyle. One who understands that building that life takes a lot of hard work in the beginning. But the reward is worth every ounce of sweat put into it. You can reach me at bwaynehigh46@gmail.com

Hi ๐Ÿ‘‹.Marni here 'im 38 ,from the United Kingdom .I have some knowledge of this as I lived on a rural farm all of my childhood !
I hate the city !! I'm dying to get back to nature and if I'm honest the isolation doesn't bother me in the slightest! Most people these days are fake anyway ! Sad Huh? But very true ๐Ÿ˜”

It doesn't take allot to live that way if I'm honest ..once you have all the water and power sorted your pretty much there (after the build of course)..

It's an amazing feeling ..the fresh air .the pride in what you've accomplished! You will have a little guilt tho ..for not doing it sooner ..

Anyway I'll end my rant here ...I talk allot!!! Ha .. I wish you all the luck in the world on your new adventure x

If you would like to go overseas consider Portugal. I have the perfect spot in nature, all ready for a new couple to enjoy the demanding yet rewarding offgrid live.
Good luck.

I'm 39, in Texas. My name is Ashley. I'm needing a friend first, more than anything . I'm not sure what you've found or if you have but I have found a few small, very reasonably priced pieces of land.(under $10k)
I'm wanting badly to homestead. I have no money. All I have right now is goals and dreams of something better and more fulfilling. My birthday is Dec 1st, I'll be 40. I'm thinking about going off with my tent and seeing where I end up.
I'll be posting on the permie singles thread and see if there's anyone semi local who needs homestead help.
Send me a msg if you wanna chat. and good luck on your homestead venture ๐Ÿ€
-Ash

No shortage of people looking for someone like you, that's for sure. If you're at all interested, you'd be roughing it, but we have the shell of the house-in-progress, to live in, and are growing food, foraging, natural building, fishing, hunting, living off grid, aiming to finish the main house, then a sauna, eventually having some camp sites at the river, insulated tiny bunkhouses and cater to eco-tourism with passive recreation while operating on a barter system. There's potential paid work around. I'm interested in trading meals and accommodations for help with all the things mentioned above and general help around the place (gardening, firewood, forest management, snow clearing, etc.) You'd get your own bunky. It's a 30 minute drive to the nearest store and we're in L'Outaouais (the Ottawa Valley), Quebec. 2 hours from Ottawa.
