First ever post anywhere so...
I have land in Carrizozo, NM. Soon I'll have a slab. But I'm over taken by crippling uncertainty, stress and fear about a building. So many options but without help and advice they all seem so far away.
I want a simple 20'x50'x10' single slope bldg shell. Just a door and thats it and I'll do the rest. It seems I can get a red iron (not galvanized square tube) kit for around 13k. Since it's red iron, and since it's not a high or tall bldg, there really aren't too many pieces all things considered. But, as I mentioned I'm almost in a frozen state cause I dont have any help with any of it.
I can swing probably 15k to 17k on the kit and tools and equipment and crew, which, if everything fell in to place would be enough. The prices builders and contractors want is just criminal in some cases. In other cases people out here seem to not be interested in the job! Back east you would have all kinds of people scrambling to do the work, here, they shrug it iff and say they're too busy. Meanwhile this is one of the least populated states in the country!
If I just had like three other guys that knew what they were doing I think these kits can go up in a day!
So, if anyone is feeling charitable or if anyone knows a crew in the Carrizozo, NM area that erects metal buildings... you have no idea how huge of a things getting this done would be for me.
