I don't remember if I posted before, but that is a fine looking tea pot !!!  Yes it looks like a mess of a job but it's going to look great once it is all cleaned up !

I will add a layer of compost a few weeks before planting or transplanting starts.  Then as each crop starts to flower and or produce, I'll add another larger layer of compost to help.

Eric, it's a hard thing, I know, for I have done it many times in my long life.  I hope this helps you and your family, Gracie will be waiting for you in the Summerlands, where she can run and sniff out new scents all day long.

Stay strong and may you find Peace in this final act of love for Gracie!!

I have one.  It works great, but it is somewhat slow.  When you get one you will want some scrap wood ( 4x4 cut offs ) to use as spacers so you don't have to pump the jack so far each time.  One other thing, please stand near the rear while using, a hunk of wood will pop out from time to time and if you're standing to the side well, my only boo-boo so far has been a broken toe.

Mid 70's with heart failure and some range of movement problems following cancer treatment a few years ago and yet another heart attack a few months ago.  I can work with this machine for a couple hours at a time.

You may want to set your machine on a couple of log cutoffs, to get it off the ground, it will ease some strain on your back.

Good luck.

I have to vote with Eric.  This past spring I bought two pairs of thin leather work gloves from Harbor Freight and so far they are holding up just great.  The second pair are on stand-by in the shop, the first pair are looking a bit rough but for the low price and toughness, I'll buy more!!
