My approach to any new area of knowledge is to test it. If it works, it works. Regardless of whether the”science” behind it is correct. I’m not going to wait for a dozen peer-reviewed controlled experiments to prove it. I tried it, using my own “forest” of orange trees leaf mold, and my own weeds, etc. The difference it made to my veggies and my fruit trees is like night and day. I now realize that my forest garden used to survive, and now it thrives.
