Best dove shoots this side of the equator has been over Pennington wild bird seed, planted along side of sunflowers that can be sprayed for weeds. You will limit out in an hour if you cant hit dove. Have planted it every year for 4 years in a row, looking for an awesome opening day again. Do not be afraid to put a couple of hundred dollars into a 4, or 5 acre field in mid May for a GREAT opening morning. You can mow it down in sections, as season continues, and at end of 1st season have some left so as to mow during off season, then what was 1st mowed will be grown back and ready to be mowed for the rest of the season. You will have bird feed on the ground when the season is over.
