Hi all,
I have an ibc tote that has a ball valve style outlet. The handle broke, and now we can not close off the tote. I would like to replace the handle, or the valve. Here's my dilemma, I can not find my style valve anywhere to see how it can be removed. Are there places that are permanent on these things? Have any of you successfully repaired/replaced a ball style valve? I've tried to unscrew it with a strap wrench, and that puppy didn't budge an inch. It really doesn't look like it is removable to me, but I thought I'd reach to some folks that are smarter to see if maybe I missed something. I've attached some.pics.of the valve from thunder side and side view. What do y'all think?
