Hello from Canada.  Some of my ancestors came here from Sokal and Lviv.

Were you mainly looking to share the technology or looking for feedback?
If the latter, and to be sure that I understand correctly, does this three storey building house multiple units or just one?  I am interested in the labour availability.  It appears that the automation makes it fairly low maintenance if electricity is available.  Knowing that Russia is targeting your energy infrastructure during winters, I do hope there is a way to manually feed it fuel if the power goes out.

Hey folks,

First post here, though I've been a permaculture nerd since 2008, did my PDC with Verge (Calgary) back in 2013 and have been doing small scale urban farming since 2017 in Vancouver.  I'm also one of those DiY'ers who has gotten a taste for metal working and am bluesky'ing designs for a tilther using the Makita split-shaft (the attachments of which seem to be used in the Stihl Kombisystem and Honda Vers-attach) system.

I know the Coleman tilthers you can find at Johnny's and Neversink connect to cordless drills and post recommendations of what speed setting to run the drill at. The drill RPM and max torque values are abundantly posted.  What I am missing in this project is the gear ratios in the tilthers.  I have the following data to infer from, but the specs of existing product would be useful.

I have a little Earthwise 8.5A corded tiller that spins at 320RPM with an 8" tine diameter.  For, say, 4" diameter tines to run at the same tip speed, the RPM would need to double.

Knowing that tilthers aren't meant to cut through compaction like a tiller nor work at the same depth of material, I presume it doesn't need quite so much torque.  Should it run at a higher RPM for finer/shallower end product?  Is that frivolous and better to prioritize battery life?

Does anyone here have experience with a tilther and, ideally, be able to check the gear ratio (tooth count of the drive and driven sprockets) ?

Thanks kindly.  Also, Hi!
***edit*** also also, is this the most appropriate place to post about DIY tools?  I couldn't find a perfect fit when browsing the directory.
