I have had one since my parents passed. I remember helping make sausage and pressing lard when I was young. And still have grinder we used to grind up the meat and organs to make liver sausage. Also remember the 5 gallon buckets of lard we had. One day my little brother and 2 little sisters and I opened one in the garage and started.playing with it. Ended up in a lard fight and if you look closely at our garage ceiling, there are still dried lard balls smashed into ceiling. Mom about had a cow when she saw it. The things we did as youngsters were quite funny to us now , but then mom was very serious about our punishment. But live and learn I always say
