We've got our backyard food forest that is on it's way, but we've also just closed on a 3 acre property for a community center and holistic education center. It was a small pistachio orchard (with a few other things) on well water, that we want to convert to a food forest, market, classes for students of all ages, and event center. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for permaculture that includes supporting the next generation and their families learning these vital skills! Our Mesa, AZ campus is focused on holistic education (private & homeschool support) with a small garden.. here in Sierra Vista we have the opportunity to do a more complete community center!! We can model so much with just a few acres in the middle of this amazing town.
If you not familiar with the climate, we find it IDEAL for growing AND living! We have mild winters (that are enough for beautiful fruit trees) and essentially two growing seasons! Zone 8B
