I collect wild type American persimmon every year. I'm lucky to have a nice patch of trees growing in my neighborhood. They produce a good crop every year. They are about the same size as Gray's wild type persimmon. Quite tasty if you get them at the right time of year. I grow a bunch from seed every year.
