One of my persimmon trees fruited for the first time this year.  The tree is probably 8 years old or so.  The smaller one is from a native tree.  Flavor is really good as long as you let the fruit fully ripen.

Will you have seeds available to sell?  I have American Persimmons but mine haven't been in long enough to produce yet, they are still only a couple feet tall.  I'd love to get some of your improved ones going as well.

I collect wild type American persimmon every year. I'm lucky to have a nice patch of trees growing in my neighborhood. They produce a good crop every year. They are about the same size as Gray's wild type persimmon. Quite tasty if you get them at the right time of year. I grow a bunch from seed every year.
