How does one integrate standard breed turkeys with a permaculture homestead? It would seem to be impossible without extensive fencing around the garden or the birds, otherwise the birds would eat the garden.

Someone gave me some manure from a barn. As i dug it out i found an aluminum roofing sheet in it, obviously corroded from the animal urine, hole eaten in it, and aluminum salts around it. I'm of the understanding that these are highly dangerous, that aluminum is impl;icated in Alzheimers, etc.  i don't think i want to put this in my garden. How do i dispose of it? Is it a big problem, or can neutralize it somehow?

Yeah, this is my question too! And the answers are very vague here! Let's put it more bluntly:
Skeeter, who are you selling your nettles to?
I could certainly use $480 for 60 lbs. of nettles, to get some of my debts paid off, buy seed, etc.
Are you selling them fresh, drying them? Restaurants, health food stores? Or is it a trade secret?
