This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the straw badge in textiles.

In this project, you will make twine from local plant material like nettles, vining plants, or suitable grasses.  Harvesting or foraging plant material is encouraged but not required for this BB.

To complete this BB, the minimum requirements are:
  -  make at least 50 yards of twine
  -  minimum of 2 plies

To document your completion of the BB, provide proof of the following as pics or video (less than two minutes):
  -  your raw materials
  -  your process of making twine
  -  your completed twine (with a tape measure, perhaps)

What we've got here is a failure to communicate. The solution is in this tiny ad:
Support permies and give beautiful gifts to gardeners: permaculture playing cards.
