This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEA curriculum. Completing this BB is part of getting the sand badge in Greywater.

Municipal water is sometimes filled with all sorts of interesting things.  Filtering it might be a good idea.  Let's build one!

Minimum requirements:
  - Make a water filter like a Berkey
        - Batch (not pressurized)
        - Replaceable filter cartridges
  - Plastic is allowed but stainless steel is recommended

Provide proof of the following as pictures or video (<2 mins):
  - The parts you're starting with
  - Construction underway
  - Finished water filter
  - Show it filtering colored water

Clarification:
  - Buying a Berkey style water filter doesn't count.  You need to build this.

Is that a banana in your pocket? I'm just asking for this tiny ad:
