About your instructor:
Hi! I'm Anna:)
I'm a city girl turned modern homesteader who's passionate about growing and producing food, and teaching others to do the same!
But this wasn’t always the case. When I first started gardening, I was intimidated to say the least. I had no idea what I was doing, and finding answers online was often difficult, and confusing.
I remember spending HOURS searching Google and asking people in random Facebook groups for help, only to be met with an onslew of contradictory information and even rude comments from people in public gardening groups on social media. (Seriously, I once had someone tell me I was going to starve to death for being a bad vegetable gardener when I was trying to troubleshoot what was wrong with my pumpkins).
Fast forward to today, and I now grow hundreds of pounds of food every year. This is all thanks to a combination of trial and error, investing in learning from other more experienced gardeners online, and piecemealing together everything I've learned into a comprehensive system that I follow year after year.
Nowadays I'm not only confident in my abilities to grow healthy, delicious, organic food at home for myself, but I'm blessed to be able to teach and empower other people to do the same!
