This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEM curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the Sand badge in Metalworking.

Wood burning contraptions often accumulate ash and it's nice to be able to remove it.  Let's build an ash scoop!

Here's a gentleman forging one.  This is fancier than what's required:

Minimum requirements:
  - Make a metal ash scoop
  - Has a flat front lip
  - Has two sides and a back to contain the payload

Provide proof of the following as pictures or video (<2 min):
  - The project underway
  - The finished scoop

You've got to ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?" Well, do ya, tiny ad?
