This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEM curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the wood badge in Textiles.

Now that we're getting a bit more advanced in our textiles experiences, let's make clothes starting with the natural raw material.

Minimum requirements:
 - Start with the prepared fiber or animal skin and turn it into fabric or leather
 - Sew a winter coat
        - Must be lined or have all seams enclosed
        - Must be mid-calf length or longer
        - Must include closures like buttons or belt
  - This full-length coat is intended to keep you warm and dry all day at sub-freezing temperatures

Provide proof of the following as pictures or video (<2 min):
 - Processing the material
 - Sewing the winter coat
 - Somebody wearing the finished item showing that it is a reasonable fit

Permaculture is a more symbiotic relationship with nature so this tiny ad can be even lazier
The new kickstarter is now live!
