Im grateful for the giveway of tools that are inspiring me to write my first post! I would be stoked to win them!
I LOVE my battery powered tools, especially the echo chainsaw and weedwhacker!!! The chainsaw is 16" so a bit heavy and overkill for most
trees I cut, yet that also makes it fast and me feel confident in cutting bigger trees. I live in the jungle of Hawai'i and so I have to cut
alot of trees each year. The weedwhacker is such a huge help in clearing overgrown areas and keeping my paths maintained.
My other tools are mostly ryobi, which Im amazed at how long they have lasted considering how cheap they are. 10" chainsaw, trimmer, polesaw (this thing is super handy), hand vacuum, and the blower helps make my house feel cleaner!
We built the house with Ridgids tool set of impact driver, drill, sawzaw, and skillsaw! Still going strong after 7 years, and they have honored the lifetime service agreement for the batteries and charger. Doesnt work so well for the actual tools since there is no repair shop here, but all the tools work except the skillsaw which I bent by trying to cut something at a weird angle.
These tools help me live the
permie lifestyle, I'd need quite a bit more people power to live out here without them.
By the way, Im looking for other permies to join me in Hawai'i!
