Spinning wheel advice needed please!

I've started learning to spin yarn on a drop spindle, and just recently found a spinning wheel in a goodwill store. I have someone willing to pick it up for me (its in another state) but I'm nervous about getting it and missing a part or it being broken. Can someone take a look and tell me if this is worth getting?

It looks to be in good shape and I'm not seeing any missing pieces. If the price is right I would go for it!

Looks good if you plan on spinning only fine yarn.  If it's less than 50, don't hesitate!  

But for most spinning, a newer wheel might give you more flexibility.  This only has one bobbin, and getting more would be custom made.  Newer wheels like the Ashford traditional usually go for the same price or less as antiques, but you can get more bobbins and upgrade parts for any of those made post 1975.  That's what I started with and as a professional spinster, I still love it.

The antique wheels like this one are fantastic, but more limited.  This one looks designed for spinning flax into fine linen thread for weaving.
