Here's a free quickie I did on the fly for my Patreon dog training page.

The Premack principle,  basically,  says that a more likely behavior can reinforce a less-likely behavior.   Often this is applied as a thread/bribe (like eat your veggies or you can't have desert) instead of straight up reinforcement, but here is an example of how it doesn't NEED to be forced or an implied deprivation.

Well so much for me figuring out how to use the vimeo/ embed feature,   I think I made it worse trying to edit so it works @@/

I got the video to work by copy and paste.

Anne, any idea what I did wrong in my post (s) so I can fix it?   I had a PM from staff that it was edit-able so I could fix it, but made it worse.

I tried the "vimeo" button on the top, and first did the copy link, and then the 'embed' link that vimeo puts on clipboard.  That about exhausts my ability/understanding of tech.

I wish I could help with this one, but the best I can do is send you to the Tinkering with this site forum, where our more techie-minded folks will find it. https://permies.com/f/11/tnk

Heather, I have no idea what is wrong.

I tried two times using the Vimeo button.

When I did copy and past, I only watched for a few minutes because my computer has no sound and I was trying to fix a problem.

Thanks Anne.   For now I just want back and did the link copy/paste instead of trying to sort out the embed stuff.

It is great that you are making dog training a career.

I had a daughter-in-law who did obedience training in a group setting through the local feed store.

Our dog was her star pupil.

Thanks!   I opened my center in 2001,  that seems impossible now!  Did a bit of training/competing with my own dogs, some fostering and guide dog raising.   I've just started moving into online content and one on one coaching.   It's cool stuff.

I think I'll just lie down here for a second. And ponder this tiny ad:
