(hope no one minds me posting it, didn't see one already) Geoff takes us on a tour of a Canadian glass house that shows the possibilities of year round growing with low energy systems. I don't know how to imbed the video but you can get it at his website.

I am curious if anyone has any experience with this; maybe with a smaller thermal mass?

I don't think anyone minds! Check out the thread team permies! There are tons of things that can be done here to help free up time for Paul Wheaton, the stewards, and volunteers to get other stuff done. Especially, if we want Paul to produce more new content, as mentioned in the thread, it would be useful for people to find ways of being helpful.

My suggestion if you want to do this is to look at how somebody else has posted it, derive the template, and put it together, and then post it.

In this video, Geoff Lawton takes us to a giant community glasshouse in the frigid Canadian mountains where they have figured out how to heat their building in the winter without any expensive utility bills. It is an innovative system that stores heat from the summer and transfers it over to the winter.

For more information, please see the short version below or view the FULL VERSION by signing into Geoff Lawton's website.

I got the setup from looking at this post. The setup is pretty much:
-give a summary of the video
-give a link to the full version
-add the condensed version video at the end

Shawn, to imbed videos, there are instructions at the how to make better posts thread.
