We've been working hard on getting the book review grid working and correctly filled out.

If anyone has written a review and it's not showing up in the grid, please either reply here or PM me and I'll try to sort it out. That pie and the amazon vouchers will be given out when everything is up and running and we're pretty sure we haven't overlooked anyone's reviews. So let us know if yours is missing from the grid!

I've got a review of Botany in a Day I did after I won it from this awesome website called Permies. I'll find the thread once I'm on a real computer.

Jon - the wording needs a teeny tweak to make it show on the grid. I've put the review on probation so you can change it. The software that creates the grid searches for the exact phrase 'out of 10 acorns'. Once we've told it what threads to look in, when it finds that string of characters it will generate the info in the grid, including the link, the score and your name.

Please don't freak out at the rather snotty message that comes with the probation post. It's semi-automated and probation is usually used to correct posts that break the be-nice rule.

Michael - I spotted the problem straight away. You said 'apples' instead of 'acorns', so the software missed it.

Can you change it?

They do now! Neither of those books had been added to the grid, which has to be done manually. I've added them and now both your reviews are showing up.

The grid now only shows the top 24 reviewers, based on number of reviews written. So if you want to appear on the grid you have to keep writing reviews to make sure you don't fall off the edge!
