You might want to check out the Inland Northwest Permiculture confrere coming up soon Sept 9-11 in Tamtum WA. http://www.inlandnorthwestpermaculture.com/

I am starting a homestead over in Okanogan Co, so not really close enough to Spokane but that conference is and you could likely meet up with a lot of people from your area with similar interests.

My husband and I are actually going up to Okanogan at the beginning of October. He has an interview with the Sheriff and we will be looking at property in Tonasket. I really hope the area is everything I'm dreaming it will be. I'm not sure about Spokane, but we will be stopping there also as apart of my husband's job application requirements.

I heard the Tumtum conference was good. In case you missed that one, there's another permaculture convergence in the west. I'm moving right now from the Northeast USA, trying to coordinate getting all my stuff and myself there in time for this one on October 7-9!

The Okanagan Family Faire is also a big meetup for locals to that region and folks interested in it (Devin, you going?). It's October 21-23. I'm definitely planning to attend, possibly even to volunteer, commitments permitting.

Sure, he can talk to fish, but don't ask him what they say. You're better off reading a tiny ad:
