Me and my girlfriend have taken the plunge and bought some land. While we are building on it we will be moving from the house we are renting to our parents house.

We have a three year old unfixed female potbelly pig, she is a healthy weight and very well behaved. She also has her tetanus and rabies shots. Very good with people, house trained (she lives indoors while its snowy and outside 3/4 of the year, but she doesnt need to stay inside if you dont want as long as she has sufficient warmth)

She is honestly the best and most loving potbelly pig iv ever been around and I have met many. We have had her her whole life. We dont want to give her away but we can not keep her at my parents. We will happily pay for feed for whoever can take her and we are not strict at all with what you want to do with here (as long as it doesn't involve eating her lol). we also have stuff and would be willing to help pay for anything she would need to live with you (depending on what it is of course). we would even pay for a shed for her and set it up, but we would take the shed again once we take her back.

If anyone wants more info leave a comment on this thread and i will private message them.

May I suggest changing it to 'hardworking pig for plowing, digging, and fertilizer'

I wish I lived closer, I would totally do this. A great way to ease into having pigs around! I hope you find a great pigsitter.

If someone wants her for good I would consider it, but even though we will be raising pigs to eat she is our baby and we want to make sure she has the life she deserves. Just putting that out there in case it sways someone.

I just signed up to this forum a few minutes ago, but came across this thread and figured I'd reply.

Did you find anyone? I'm not sure if this is something I could do, but the possibility is there. Also really depends where in Ontario you are!

If you'd like, PM the details to me.
