Our geese, who we thought were a pair but turned out to be two females, have been goose-stepping around the poultry yard terrorising the inferior races for years. But now the muscovy drakes have grown up, they're getting their come-uppance!
Cute! We have two goslings with our new chicks - hopefully will serve as watch dogs for the hens (previous hens killed by dogs)
Even though they are all still just tiny things all the chicks cuddle around the two geese at night or when it is chilly. It is looking like it may go well as long as the geese remember that they do not need to protect the hens from US.
If so I will be looking up a good sauce for goose.
