How would I go about making Bierkashi?  Bokashi made from spent beer grains.

The way I see it you can use the beer grains in two different ways- you could ferment them in your bokashi barrel, like anything else, or you could dry them and use them as your medium for the microorganisms that you sprinkle in every time you put a deposit in your bucket.
It depends on what else you have going into your bucket and how often you have spent grains. I brew every so often, and only every so often I have some. That goes in my bucket, along with all my other compostables.
If I had a more regular supply, I'd dry it and mix it with my microorganism serum- I know some people use bran, which is pricey for me so I`m always playing around with different options. Currently I mix a small amount of bran that has the spores with either wood shavings or the wood pellets that make up the litterbox for my kid`s pet rats, hot composted with coffee grounds for a few months before they get put in with the bokashi starter. I think spent grains would make a great medium.

there are some good threads here-- one ancient one has several people mentioning how they create their own microorganism serum https://permies.com/t/40/11246/bokashi
I know i've detailed my process somewhere, but can't remember where-- but this site is what I use to make my serum, and it's also referenced in that big old thread https://newspaperbokashi.wordpress.com/tag/diy-bokashi-starter-recipe/

Had heart surgery recently and am wanting to make fertilizer for around 150 fruit trees/bushes/vines.  So I need to pursue the easiest method.
I usually get an IBC tote that is filled 1/3 to 1/2 full of spent beer grain. It is so heavy that my 24 hp tractor has a hard time lifting and it makes the back end lift (even with a 300 lbs weight).
They use organic products so that is good. I know if I just spread this grain around it will attract flies and ants.
