Hello,
I am looking for information on DIY anchoring systems for tiny houses that are on rocky ground. We are in New England and there are many rocks here, huge and small. What are people using to anchor in these types of conditions?
Thanks, Taica
If the rocks are smaller, you could buy or build gabion baskets and fill them with all the rocks from an area you don't want rocks in - like a future garden. If you design it right, it could do some sort of double duty like creating some heat traps for berry plants.
That video was good, but I would do a few things differently;
- I would use a 'star' chisel rather that a straight cut cold chisel.
- make the hole deeper
- have a larger diameter threaded rod, say 1/2 inch at least.
- Insert the chemical nozzle deeper into the hole to try and not create air bubbles in the brew.
Otherwise its a great concept.
