How to Make a Door for Your Rocket Stove

This video is a tutorial on how to make an oven door for a the rocket powered wood oven. The first step is to attach a hinge to the door so that it can open. A line is marked on the door and a cut is made to attach the hinge. It is important to make sure that the hinge is centered and that one side is not higher or lower than the other. Once the hinge is in place, the next step is to make the outside of the oven door by cutting out a little bit of a tab on either side. A thin strip of scrap metal is attached to the side of the door as an extra lip. It is important to work on the outer side of the lid when attaching the pop rivets to avoid interference with the door fitting well.
