Florida Cob Oven

Hello

I plan on building a Cob Oven soon. I live in West Palm Beach, Florida and was wondering where do I get the clay? Any other tips are welcome too. thank you.

This will get you more traffic and announce your location. Perhaps you will find a Cob Experienced near neighbor with good clay !

Amanda, I usually start with sand and gravel companies.

Amanda Eur : To miles picks I would add Local Department of Public Works D.P.W., local/county/State Highway Depts, Agricultural schools, local Soil
Conservation Services, and personally check all new Road Cuts and new Drainage Ditches, If that doesn't work out Try local Excavation Contractors,
tell them it's an Art project ! Tell them you are re-creating old time-y techniques , you are going to use it outdoors, with a little luck you can get the
