We are a couple 38 y.o. and 53 y.o. with a beautiful permaculture farm and ranch built from scratch on 160 acres in the Southwest Colorado. We are located at 7,600 ft. surrounded by pasture and pinon juniper habitat. After spending the last several years developing the property with barns, loafing sheds, greenhouse, high tunnel, milking parlor, wood shop, walk-in cooler etc... we are now ready to embark on the next stage.
We are seeking another (ideally a couple) to join the project as our partners as we transition into forming and operating the farmstead businesses. There are endless opportunities for small scale agricultural based businesses for creative and business oriented individuals. We are already producing eggs, goat milk and lamb. There is also an opportunity to run retreats or other lodging based businesses with the extra bedrooms and large community space on site.
This is an opportunity for a couple, or super motivated individual truly interested in improving their quality of life through living a clean and healthy lifestyle. The rewards of this opportunity are a clean farm based diet, sunlight, farm work, yoga, meditation and community.
We are seeking highly responsible individuals who are motivated not by the prospect of an easier or more comfortable situation, but by the opportunity to grow and optimize their human potential with other like minded individuals. Applicants must have an entrepreneurial spirit and a good work ethic. Income from any farm based business ventures will be shared according to terms agreed to in advance in writing. We will include private on-site housing as well as a share of any food produced on the farm. While farming experience will be useful, we are primarily seeking a couple that shares in our values and is truly committed to operating a permaculture farm.

Welcome to permies, you'll likely find lots of like minds here.

Hi my name is Adam and I’m 37 yrs old and have wanted to homestead/ farm for many years. I’m looking to completely change how I live and eat. I’m a hard working tradesman my entire life, I have many skills from carpentry, plumbing, electrical, water systems, welding and HVAC and heat pumps to name a few. I love to learn new skills and techniques. My goal is to be self sufficient and learn all I can about growing food and animal husbandry. I’m a very entrepreneurial person, I believe there is excellent opportunities in sharing this kind of lifestyle with visitors renting air b and b’s to get a farm experience with fresh eggs and what not. I’ve spent a lot of time in Colorado and absolutely love it there. I’m very interested in working with you. I would love to talk on the phone or through email, what ever works for you. My number is 207-332-8632 and email is adamk1987@icloud.com
