Hey everyone!

Have you ever heard the expression "build a house, lose a spouse"... building with a partner can be very hard and challenging. Even more so if you're doing it out of pocket or building something non conventional like an Earthship. This is my YouTube channel "Owner Builders Unite" and I just uploaded a video on the topic with 8 tips on how to save your relationship and make it through the build till the end! Learn from the people like me that failed and fell into the pitfalls so it doesn't happen to you!

I have not seen your youtube, though I wanted to comment.

Dear hubby and I built a house from the inside as the structure was on the land we bought.  It was just a shell.

That was in 2013.  This might have taken us about 3 years.

We bought supplies finished those then went back home to buy more supplies.

While this might not have been the easiest project we have taken on ... it was rewarding. At least on my part.

We love living here so I feel buying this property was the best thing we have accomplished in our life together.
