First post. Thought I would share what I have going on my 1/4 suburban lot in Denton, TX...

Fruit

Looking good!  I notice your baby hens are in the henbit (edible "weed") 

Are you going to plant in the cells of the concrete blocks around your beds?  You could put individual kinds of herbs in the larger holes, or strawberry plants...You could put sedums and sempervivums in the small holes....

yes. I plan to alternate purslane(portulaca), wooly thyme, and cilantro in the larger holes.
and the hens really love the henbit. I have been taking handfuls inside to the brooder since we got them.

Good stuff! Your list looks an aweful lot like my list, did you steal it!! JK I wish I would have taken pictures of the progress and every phase, but alas I didnt have time and I dont have a website to host them anyway.

lovely ....very happy you aren't afraid to post photos of your baby trees, mine sometimes resemble sticks and I figure no one cares to see sticks..but I enjoyed seeing your baby trees..

I have been planting baby trees here, and many of mine are even smaller than yours, but most that size or a little larger..it will be a while..

would so much like to see you continue to post your garden as it matures
