hey babe take a walk on the wild side
Singing this lovely song by this lovely girl as I type.

I am so ready to run through the grass on a warm eve.

But today was a snow day! We woke up to 4 - 5 fresh inches of cold silver dust on everything. So we decided it was a great morning to finish our seed meeting. We pored over seed catalogs and compared prices, and listened to bits and pieces of wisdom from Josiah about planting here. What may thrive and what may not. The electricity decided to go right out at some point. But finally we had our spreadsheet prepared with a few varieties we've chosen... it will be interesting to see how this goes... hopefully i can find something of a green thumb out here somewhere.

After several hours of seeds, there began a design brainstorm for lighting the library dock (our shared workspace) and I started a bit of organization. It feels good to pare down on the amount of stuff and reorganize to make room for things we may actually decide to use. In fact I thrive on that kind of thing. Lunch came and went and then I walked outside into a snowball 'fight' or dodging competition. That was about the extent of the exercise I got today, aside from some mild dinner dancing.

The afternoon saw me directing my two helpers, Clayton and Fred, through a serious deep dive into a whole lotta crap in the library. It reminded me of that scene from Howl's Moving Castle ("come back later... there's a witch on a rampage in there.")

I'm working on grouping everything of one thing in ONE place instead of spread all over the place, because we have some seriously cool stuff around here and it would be nice to know where it all is so everyone feels like they can use it!

Dinner was a an ode to Josiah's love of food and cooking, and a rare treat: salmon and all the sides. You can catch a sweet glimpse in my video recap below. Thank you master chef for blessing our bellies tonight.

Enjoy a few pics and my first video recap of the week following shortly after this post! Cheers
