Hey Jesse, compost tea is tons of fun so welcome to the party. The only issues I could see with your plan is that it might be excessive to your needs. You dilute compost teas by up to 1:20 and usually at least 1:3 or 4 so you would be making
enough tea to create a minimum of 1000 g of
irrigation water at a time (you will find that you cant reasonably fill your brewer to the tip top due to agitation and foaming). It will also be more expensive to build this brewer and make each batch of tea. That said, if you want to have this brewer because you are doing commercial scale growing or just cause you want it and who am I to tell you how much tea to make, then I will say that on an earlier
thread I mathed a bit to figure that you need a pump that puts out about half of your volume of tea per minute. So I use a pump that does around 25 gallons per minute of air for my 50 gallon brewer. Following that equation you would need something that does 125 - 150 gpm. I'm not sure of brands for those but that would be the power youd be after. I've also seen people do brewing with a sump that just sprays the tea right back into itself so that might be an option too.
