Jekyll & Hyde

The only way to get inside New York City’s Jekyll & Hyde is through a secret London phone booth entrance. Diners can expect twisted characters, spooky animatronics and an entertaining show led by a mad scientist while indulging in comfort food with a twist. The Jekyll & Hyde Steakhouse Burger — loaded with crisp bacon, tangy blue cheese and a housemade steak sauce — is a ghoulishly good favorite.

Someone's a steampunk...

hat place reminds me of The Safe Housein Milwaukee.

I used to haunt The Anchor in Covington Kentucky, when I was a young man, willing to swill bad coffee to too enjoy good company at 4:00 min the morning.
It's way more upscale these days, but still quirky.

Compared to some this seems like small potatoes if you will forgive the deliberate pun, but the River Drivers Restaurant just outside Mount Katadin near Millinocket Maine is kind of strange. Not in that its bad, my wife and I love it, it is just that it is located in the middle of nowhere, 8 miles outside of town, and is a VERY upscale restaurant. People like loggers, snowmobilers, and Appalachian Trail hikers walk in and take a double take because no one expects it to be what it is, where it is.

What they hey, almost done hiking the 100 mile wilderness to complete the Appalachian Trail after 5 months of hiking, and there is a 5 star restaurant right off the trail!

Thanks for sharing, Travis.  You must live in a beautiful place or at least have beauty nearby.

The River Driver's Restaurant is an award winning restaurant on Millinocket Lake overlooking Katahdin, Maine's highest mountain.

Bayou Seafood is a sushi bar here in Jasper, AL
It’s also a gas station.
That’s right.  Gas station sushi.
It’d be sage to say the best gas station/ sushi bar in America!
