The link worked ok for me - the post it linked to said
Daniel and I are currently editing away. We are recording voiceover stuff and what we call "lawn chair time" (where I sit in a chair and "bla bla bla").
We are including some footage from the recent rmh event.
We are currently thinking (as mentioned earlier) that we might have these ready about december 15 or so.
The post is higher up this page.

high Cassie, i was wondering when the actual discs will be ready? ...i contributed $90.00 to the kickstarter speciffically so i could have actual discs so i'd have all the videos in hand, in case i find myself without internet or even a pc.
anyway, i thought the discs would be ready in Oct so i've been anxiously awaiting news that they were ready and being prepared for shipment to all who contributed to that level.
thanks in advance for any help you can give.
Rick
Please see paul's post above here.

I think this is the thread you need - https://permies.com/forums/posts/list/160/44266
yeah, i think what he means is that watching Geoff's 'Soils' video will give him the same information as the online PDC, he's not saying there is something missing, he's saying there is NOTHING missing.Robert Marr wrote:

You'll need to sign up but you can get a free trail which will give you enough time to watch it. I took his online PDC a couple of years back and there is nothing you'll miss from only seeing this one

I haven't taken an in person PDC, but I have taken Geoffs online one. What do you think was missing from Geoff's? I'd like to know so I can look for an in person one that rounds out my knowledge.
...yeah, ditto to that, after reading others posts i went on a mission this AM and after maybe 6 or 7 downloads i finally got a working copy and like you i got the file starting with Chapter 4.Ed Zaborski wrote:Finally succeeded... I think. It is not Erica Wisner's Rocket Mass Heater Manual, "20 pages of assistance on building the rocket mass heater". It is actually 32-page Chapter 4, Operation and Maintenance, of Erica's 2013 Rocket Mass Heater Builders Guide. Size is 16,936 KB. On first glance, it looks useful, once you've got your rocket built. Will have to wait for the kickstarter candy for detailed building info, I guess. Well, back to the maple sap! Cheers, everyone!!
yeah, here's a piece of an article on reflectivity that shows that aluminum foil would not be the best choice for this.John Polk wrote:
If you cannot add some extra light (full spectrum lights are best), you could try putting some aluminum foil behind them to reflect more of that light towards them.
