Historically, chestnuts were among the most popular Christmas and New Years snacks. In honor of that tradition, and with hopes of an abundant 2026 for all of you good folks, we are running a 10% off sale on all our chestnut options, including our 10-pack deals! Though the days of forests filled with native American Chestnut trees are over (for now), we can replace the void in the ecosystem with all other species of chestnut. We grow Chinese, Japanese and hybrid types for a wide range of genetics. Trees are grown in air-prune beds filled with rich compost made by our chickens and mulched with leaves and wood chips that make for a fibrous root system with good mycelium growth.
