Learn how to capture, store and use rain water in your garden and beyond.

--Saturday, Oct. 15; 10 a.m.-noon
--Good Shepherd Center; 4649 Sunnyside Ave. N., Room 107, Seattle, WA 98103

Have you noticed that the rainy Northwest can have a summer drought? This class is an overview of the many ways that rain may be stored for use in your vegetable or ornamental home garden. We will cover cisterns and rain barrels, swales and rain gardens, as well as mulching techniques and green roofs. Participants will receive the practical information needed to take the next step in their own garden. This class will consist of an indoor lecture and an outdoor tour.  Please dress for the weather.

COST: $36 or $25 for Seattle Tilth members.  Advance registration and payment are required.
