RMH users... Clean outs how many???

Here is a photograph of my unmassed heat ducting.

Right now I plan on having clean out "T"s where all the blue marks are.

Should I put more clean outs in the pink areas?

Each section is 2 feet long. More clean outs means easier cleaning but more holes in the heat couch, more cash, more difficult construction.

I really don't know how much and how far down ash builds up.

the ones you have will be sufficient. nice layout and i must ask if you have test fired it yet? (you can run it out the window). it looks great.

Yes I test fired it See this thread...

It won't run right at window level. My house is so negative the stove fights the incoming rush of air and exhaust puffs out the ducting seams. But it is drafting well hooked up to a 6" triple wall outside chimney.

I fired it once this morning and it took the house from 66F on the ceiling and 50F on the floor to 82F on the ceiling and 70F on the floor right now, the stove has been out for some time. It is weirdly warm outside for this time of year right now at 40F.
