New Here - Who's out there?

Hey, my name is Kelby. I have been dabbling in this lifestyle while I save up to make this dream a reality. I'm ready to pull the trigger soon! I'm originally from an agriculture background in the Midwest. Currently I am in Texas using the oil & gas industry to meet my financial goals. I'm 37 without kids and have never been married. Just grinding hard to get ahead in this economy. I'm 6'3", 215 lb. white, straight, semi-conservative, Christian male. I'm plenty versed in all home/farm repairs and own plenty of tools and equipment I have acquired to put the best foot forward when I decide to take the leap! I currently do not own land, but I do have plenty of equity in my small lake front house property and a good bit of savings/investments. I also have brand new F-350, boat, various trailers and a 45 HP tractor with farming equipment. I spend all the time I can outdoors and enjoy cooking, canning and grilling/smoking meat.
