I give this nursery 9 out of 10 acorns.

All the same good points apply to this nursery as their seed business. The only slight detractor is the limited availability. Their for-the-public business offering is a pop-up shop during the seedling season, so I have to be really on-the-ball to watch their website and instagram/other social media postings to see when they're getting new stock in.

I haven't taken advantage of the seasonal pre-order that is available, largely because I am not working on that scale yet, but it is, I understand, still available for both seed and plants.

I give this seed source 9 out of 10 acorns.

I had this down earlier, but I guess there was an accident in the merging of threads.

Urban Harvest is amazing. They are committed to 100% Organic, non-GMO heirlooms, and I believe they're all open pollinating.

They keep well, too. I used the ends of three different two-year-old tomato packs, and I had all but three come up, so many that I gave a dozen away to my grandmother.

Moreover, while the dozen grocery-store-bought generic beefsteak plants she bought herself all came down with powder mould issues, all the tomato plants I gave her were disease- and pest-free. And they were all grown together.

I have been buying seed and plant stock from these guys since they got started, and have never been let down.

Try 100 things. 2 will work out, but you will never know in advance which 2. This tiny ad might be one:
